New Beginnings Quartet
The New Beginnings Quartet is my first serious foray into writing and producing original jazz music. Featuring guitarist Vaughn Cannon, Pianist Jeff Goodkind, and drummer John Macdonald the sound is a blend of our influences ranging from modern jazz to classical, latin and gospel musics. Featuring pianist Jeff Goodkind and drummer Ricardo Lomelí Gomez, the Ryan Trujillo Latin Jazz Trio performs a variety of original and classic arrangements showcasing Afro Cuban rhythms and songs ranging from the mambo, cha cha cha, danzón, rumba cubana and more!
Conjunto Trujillo
Conjunto Trujillo is my love letter to Latin dance and folkloric music. Specializing in Afro Caribbean styles like Cuban son, bolero, and rumba, Colombian cumbia, and Dominican merengue and bachata, the Conjunto Trujillo brings an energetic and joyous atmosphere with them wherever they play.

Solo Bass
As a solo musician I use a loop pedal and other effects to perform a variety of pop, jazz, latin etc. songs. I create a fine atmosphere, weaving soundcapes improvising through classic and original songs .
